2. Difference between CrPC and PPC.
Answer:
PPC (Pakistan Penal Code, 1860): It is a substantive law. It defines what constitutes a crime/offense and specifies the punishments for them.
CrPC (Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898): It is a procedural law. It explains the entire mechanism and procedure of how the criminal law is enforced (e.g., how arrests are made, how trials are conducted, and how investigations happen).
3. Article/Section 196 of CrPC.
Answer: Section 196 deals with the Prosecution for offenses against the State. It dictates that no Court shall take cognizance of certain offenses (like sedition or promoting enmity between classes) unless the complaint is made by the order of or under authority from the Federal or Provincial Government.
4. Section 44 of the PERA Act (Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority Act 2024).
Answer: Under the PERA Act 2024, Sections in the 40s generally outline the Indemnity, Bar of Jurisdiction, and powers to clear encroachments/enforce price control. Section 44 specifically protects actions taken in good faith under this Act, stating that no suit or legal proceeding lies against the Authority or its officers for anything done in good faith.

1. Why aren’t you going to the School Education Department where the job is quite easy? Why administration?
Answer: “Sir, while the School Education Department plays a vital role in nation-building, my personal aptitude aligns more with administrative and executive enforcement. I thrive in dynamic environments where active problem-solving, field regulation, and structural implementation are required daily. The administrative domain allows me to utilize my leadership abilities directly to ensure good governance.”
2. Why PERA specifically?
Answer: “PERA is a newly structured, powerful authority aimed at bringing state writ, eliminating encroachments, and regulating price control in Punjab. Being part of PERA as an SDEO gives me a front-row opportunity to reform local enforcement mechanisms and provide direct relief to the common citizen.”
3. What will you do if your subordinates do not obey your orders?
Answer: “First, I will issue a clear, written warning and try to understand if there is a genuine operational bottleneck or lack of training. If the defiance persists, I will strictly initiate disciplinary action against them according to the Punjab Employees Efficiency, Discipline and Accountability (PEEDA) Act, as institutional discipline cannot be compromised.”
