The Holy Quran was revealed to Muhammad ﷺ by the angel Gabriel.

When Muhammad was 40 years old

The revelation of the Holy Quran began in 609 CE,

1st revelation of Muhammad was made in Hira.

 

NOTE:

The usual answer is 23 years.

But, to be exact, the Holy Quran was revealed in 22 years 5 months, and 14 days, between 610 to 632 AD

 

Additional information:

The first revelation of the Holy Quran consisted of 5 Aayats.

2 years and six months was the interval between the first and the second revelation of the Holy Quran

The collection of the holy Quran was completed in two terms:

1. Hazrat Abubakar (RA)

2. Hazrat Usman (RA)

The word “Islam” means “submission to the will of God.”

The fundamental belief of Islam is “There is only one God, and Muhammad is his prophet.”

Ayatul Kursi is the 255th verse of the 2nd surah of the Quran, Al-Baqarah.

ٱللَّهُ لَاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلۡحَیُّ ٱلۡقَیُّومُۚ لَا تَأۡخُذُهُۥ سِنَةࣱ وَلَا نَوۡمࣱۚ لَّهُۥ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَمَا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ مَن ذَا ٱلَّذِی یَشۡفَعُ عِندَهُۥۤ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِهِۦۚ یَعۡلَمُ مَا بَیۡنَ أَیۡدِیهِمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَهُمۡۖ وَلَا یُحِیطُونَ بِشَیۡءࣲ مِّنۡ عِلۡمِهِۦۤ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاۤءَۚ وَسِعَ كُرۡسِیُّهُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَۖ وَلَا یَـُٔودُهُۥ حِفۡظُهُمَاۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَلِیُّ ٱلۡعَظِیمُ

عذاب الحریق کا مطلب ہے جلنے کا عذاب۔

یہ عذاب اُس عذاب کو ظاہر کرتا ہے جس میں انسان یا مخلوق کو آگ میں جلایا جائے۔

 

FIRST IN ISLAM

 

Eid Salat consists of two ‘Rakats‘ and six ‘Takbirs’.

First Eid Prayer offered by the Holy prophet in 2nd A.H.

The Migration to Abyssinia Dated 6 BH (613/14 CE).

The first migration (Hijrah) of the Companions occurred to Habsha to escape persecution in Makkah.

It was ruled by a just Christian king, Negus (Najashi), who gave them protection.

Start date: 613 AD

Participants: A group of twelve men and four women

Also known as: Hijrah il-al-Habshah 

The relatives of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in the first migration to Abyssinia were Usman Ghani (R.A) and Ruqaiyah (R.A).

Prophet Muhammadﷺ lived in Madina for 10 years

At the age of 53 prophet Muhammad ﷺ  migrated to Madina

He stayed in Medinah for 10 years from the year 622 to 632 (1 to 10 Hijri).

Additional Information:

Prophet Muhammadﷺ lived in Makkah for the first 53 years of his life.

Cave (Ghar-e-Hira) is located on Jabal Al-Noor mountain.

Jabal Al-Noor also Called the “Mountain of Light” or “Hill of Illumination”.

It takes around 45 minutes to reach the top.

Muhammad first received revelation in a Mount Hira cave.

The Holy Qur’an was revealed from 610-632 AD.

ZAKAT

Surah Al-Tawba, there are eight categories of people (asnaf) who qualify to benefit from zakat funds.Allah has clearly mentioned the masarif of zakat and sadaqah in Quran in these words:

اِنَّمَا الصَّدَقٰتُ لِلْفُقَرَآءِ وَالْمَسٰکِیْنِ وَالْعٰمِلِیْنَ عَلَیْھَا وَالْمُؤَلَّفَۃِ قُلُوْبُھُمْ وَ فِی الرِّقَابِ وَالْغَارِمِیْنَ وَفِیْ سَبِیْلِ اللّٰہِ وَابْنِ السَّبِیْلِ ؕ فَرِیْضَۃً مِّنَ اللّٰہِ ط وَاللّٰہُ عَلِیْمٌ حَکِیْمٌ۔

 

سورۃالتکاثر کی پہلی آیت “الهاكم التكاثر” ہے، جس کا مطلب ہے: “تمہیں کثرت (مال و دولت) کی چاہت نے غافل کر دیا”۔

ان آیات میں دنیا کی محبت اور اس کی حرص کی سخت مذمت کی گئی ہے، جو انسان کو آخرت سے غافل کر دیتی ہے۔

An effective Zakat system helps redistribute wealth and support the needy.

It plays a key role in the elimination of poverty in society.

  • There are 8 categories (Masarif) for the distribution of Zakat.
  • These categories are outlined in Surah Al-Taubah (9:60) of the Quran.

These are:

  1. The poor (Al-Fuqara).
  2. The needy (Al-Masakin).
  3. Zakat administrators.
  4. New Muslims and friends of the Muslim community.
  5. Slaves and captives.
  6. The debt-ridden.
  7. In the cause of God.
  8. The wayfarer (travelling with few resources).

Zakat was made compulsory in 2 A.H.

But its complete system was imposed in the year of 8th hijrah.

The standard rate of Zakat on silver, gold, and currency is 2.5% (or 2 ½ %) of the total wealth if it meets the Nisab threshold..

If you have 7.5 tola/3 ounces/87.48 grams of gold or

52.5 tota/21 ounces/612.36 grams of silver or

its cash equivalent for a full lunar year,

then you are considered Sahib-e-Nisab and should pay Zakat 2.5%

HOLY PROPHETS

Hazrat Jibrael (AS) delivered the Message to every Prophet from Hazrat Adam to Muhammad (pbuh).

Izra’il – The Angel of Death, who takes the souls from bodies when people die.

Israfil – The angel who will be present on the day of resurrection .

Mīkāl_ is often depicted as providing nourishment for bodies and souls while also being responsible for bringing rain and thunder to Earth.

Palestine is the land of prophets.

He was given the Torah, which contained detailed legal and moral guidance.

Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) died on 8th June 632 AD on Monday

He died at the age of 62 

He was buried at al-Masjid an-Nabawi (the Mosque of the Prophet)

It is one of the first mosques built by Muhammad in Medina
